The Bismack Biyombo Foundation exists to propel the belief that the opportunities we receive aren’t intended for our benefit alone; they are meant to be multiplied through the lives of others. Activating the potential of human lives through athletics, education, and health, the Foundation creates opportunity for game changers in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).

A single opportunity has the potential to change a human life. No one knows that better than Bismack Biyombo. He stepped onto the basketball court at age 13 and instantly took to the sport. Five years later, Bismack got his opportunity when he participated in the Nike Hoop Summit and recorded the first triple-double in the summit’s history. He was drafted into the NBA that same year and has been playing since 2011.
For most, making the NBA is the end goal. But for Bismack, it’s just the beginning—the vehicle to multiply the opportunity he received. Beginning his rookie season, Bismack has been celebrating and championing those who can change the world, if just given the chance.
